AshweetA are a quartet based in Cape Town, South Africa that write and perform original music. The band take influence from the Goema music of the Cape and their live shows are upbeat and joyous affairs. Added to the Goema are pinches of afrobeat, funk, reggae, soul, jazz and rock and roll.

The band comprises of Curve on bass and vocals, Dan Boshoff on guitars, Wayde Hardy on hybrid percussion and Brandon Ruiters on Trumpet and FX. The band have done a tour of southern/central Mozambique and have shared stages with some amazing artists.
