Madcityjimi Born (ThankGod Jimmy Omokhuale Connor Junior) is an African afrotrap artist, song-writter and record producer living in lagos. From a country of vast tribes and languages Madcityjimi was raised in Ekpoma (Esan tribe), Edo State (known to be the benin tribe). Madcityjimi musical career started at a tender age where started developing lyrics miming and making sounds then he moved to lagos (the city of entertainment in Nigeria) immediately after secondary (high school) in 2009. After years of pathfinding and blending with the underground madcityjimi dropped his first debut album in aug 2018 titled #LifeOfJimi with street hits like *N0N0* & *superstar* featuring lagos hot underground producer like S-man_kelo & Switch2unez which got him starred on international music platform ReverbNation and on top lagos underground hit chart. He became member of Marapara-House (one of the top pioneers of hip-hop music in Nigeria). In 2019 madcityjimi dropped #OnMyOwn featuring Tudaxkey (producer rapper and ceo of marapara house) Which got him a distribution/promotion & management deal with international Atlanta based independent music company G1muzic. Then he dropped another hit single *LikeToParty which got him placed on top playlist on spotify for world class hit songs! It is been analyzed that his next album #NothingToLoose will definitely get Grammy's attention
