Nicolas Peks

Nicolas Peks is a multifaceted artist, renowned for his diverse talents as a DJ, singer, producer, sound engineer, and entrepreneur. Balancing his creative pursuits with family life, he is also a devoted full-time dad. Born and raised in Bujumbura, Nicolas now resides in Kigali, having previously been based in Toronto.

Nicolas' musical journey began at the tender age of 15, when he started DJing. He quickly gained popularity, performing in numerous clubs and lounges in Bujumbura. As his confidence grew, he expanded his artistic repertoire, singing in various clubs across Bujumbura, Kigali, Kampala, and Europe.

His production credentials include the critically acclaimed song "Kugasozi Kakure." Notably, Nicolas is a member of the esteemed Okavango African Orchestra, which won the prestigious Juno Award for Best World Music Album of the Year in 2017. This achievement has catapulted him onto the international music scene, where he shares stages with established and emerging artists, further solidifying his passion for music.
