Singer, songwriter, poet, and storyteller, SHADE, blends music and literature, creating an urban contemporary sound which he describes as a pill to soothe a troubled heart. His debut track, WENA, is a testament to his skill with words and melodies. SHADE was named winner of the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz #Discover competition in 2017. Since then the talented vocalist has been working hard building his brand and dazzling music lovers across the country. Hailing from KwaNdebele, a colourful village in the Mpumalanga province, SHADE is fastly becoming a household name in the South African music scene with his unique sound, daring image, and music content.
