Zinhle Madela
Bio
Zinhle Madela is an independent Afro-pop singer, songwriter, philanthropist and community development practitioner from South AFrica.
She is a charming performer that mesmerises listeners with her soft angelic voice and charismatic stage presence. She believes in staying true to her roots as she is proud of her heritage. This has inspired her to be an advocate for Arts and African culture for which she is known as "e-Kasi Queen", because of the authentically African style, presented in both her image and her distinctive style of music, which she describes as ‘Maskandi-Soul’. She has graced countless stages because her music breaks barriers and has been recognized as "Worth Sharing" by the world's largest idea sharing platform - TEDX.
Madela holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Community Development and Psychology at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is a social activist who's passionate about women empowerment, social awareness and community development, and is well known as a caregiver, within and around her community. Her projects through her arts and culture company, Heart Prints, have gained recognition as the most impactful art development programmes through her work with High Schools where she promotes culture, arts, artists, the business of arts, heritage, education and diversity through products and services mainly in rural communities
