L.C.B

L.C.B (real name Bonginkosi Charles Lumbela) is a musician who was born and raised in Mbabane, Swaziland. Hailing from a township known as Dark City, he discovered his love for hip-hop at a tender age of 14 through listening to radio.

In 2006, he and his two friends formed a group which saw them releasing a single titled ‘U everything’. The group did not last long, leaving LCB pursuing his dream and love for hip-hop music. He launched a solo career and began working with a South African producer called Dennis Bothma who lives in Johannesburg. The two worked on a number of unreleased tracks.

In mid-2012, he dropped a radio banger titled ‘Yabashukumisa’. The song was produced by Sub-jamz. In August 2013, his ‘Siyabashukumisa Part II’ single was on the SBIS Top 20 chart pinnacle for three successive weeks. The track features renowned hip-hop heavyweights, MP, Ngwane, Diba Diba and Silo Phame. The single got the highest number of nods from listeners through the show’s Facebook group. He is among the artists who featured on the Swazi Rhythm CD.
