Call for entries: Ultimate Songwriter’s Sweepstakes Contest
US music education hub Music Row 411 is calling on all musicians around the world to submit entries for its Ultimate Sweepstakes Songwriters giveaway competition.
Participants stand a chance to win a four-hour songwriting coaching session with a Grammy nominee. The competition is aimed at singers, songwriters and independent artists who would like to improve their songwriting skills and careers.
The winner will receive the following:
- A half day of mentoring and songwriting coaching worth about $2 000.
- Personalised career advice.
- An all access lifetime pass to the Music Row 411 industry education platform valued at $1 300 per year.
- A free custom website valued at around $2 500.
The organisers will also give away four additional first place prizes, which will include all access passes to the Music Row 411 courses. Additionally, every participant will receive free access to the following:
- Access to a free creative community for support and networking.
- Free Timely Resources that help YOU build a better long-term career.
- Weekly contest Q&A sessions to get advice from industry experts who have worked with some of the biggest names in the business such as Ryan Tedder, Shane McAnnally, Nine Inch Nails and Arrested Development. The sessions will enable participants to learn about various topics including Using Music Tech to Write Songs, What Music Publishers Want You to Know, Behind the Movies and TV Curtain – 10 Things to Know About Sync, Speaking Your Musical Truth and Why it Matters, and Legal Matters – What You Must Know from the Get Go.
