Call for applications: Artist residency in Finland
The Kone Foundation in Mynämäki, Finland, is inviting professional artists and art collectives in various fields to apply for its 2022 Saari Residence.
The two-month international artist residency programme allows participants to focus on their work in a peaceful rural environment and share their thoughts and experiences with colleagues.
The residency is available in two categories:
- Individual residency – The applicant’s work must be innovative and current. The objective is that at least some residents represent new or marginal art forms.
- Group residency – The applicant’s work must favour subjects and themes that are cross-disciplinary or inter-disciplinary, or outside the mainstream. Such include applications for projects involving co-operation between Finnish and international artist groups.
