Call for applications: IETM Global Connect programme in Belgium
The International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM) in Brussels, Belgium, is accepting applications for its inaugural Global Connect programme.
The IETM is a network of more than 500 performing arts organisations and individual members working in the performing arts and all functions in the ecosystem: artists, producers, companies, venues, festivals, research and resource centres, residencies, other networks, governmental bodies, etc.
The programme was created with the support of IETM’s associate members to make the network more diverse, inclusive and accessible. It is open to performing arts professionals worldwide, such as producers, artists, managers, presenters, etc.
Applicants should have at least five years of professional experience in the field and be committed to increasing global awareness, inclusion, accessibility and connectivity – in the sector at large and their communities.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the first-year programme will start in October 2021 with an online event. A travel bursary will be provided to take part in a physical IETM event in 2022.
Selected applicants will have the opportunity to:
- Increase their international connections.
- Develop new skills and knowledge.
- Actively share their perspectives with the network.
- Bring new insights and learnings back to their communities.
