Ms.Charz De Soulsista
Charlotte Mokoka is from a small township called Atterigeville in Pretoria, South Africa. She is a Poet, Writer, Actor, Radio Personality, an MC, An Artist she calls herself. She is mostly known by her stage name Ms.Charz De SoulSista. SoulSista discovered her artistic flair in the year 2008 while she was still in high school and matriculated at Trinity Catholic School. Her dream of becoming a performing artist never stopped but continued when she furthered her studies at the South African State Theatre in 2015 and also at the Joburg Theatre, Duma Ndlovu Actors Academy in 2019.
Soulsista has traveled across Africa doing intercultural programs in places like Cape Town, Rwanda to Ghana. Her work has been heard by many and also protests to black South African people through her style of writing and the use of languages like Sepedi, IsiZulu and English. She love storytelling and that’s the uniqueness she brings in her style of poetry and music. She also has an annual Project as giving her time to the community called De SoulSista Kasi Tour, where she tours to different kasi’s and shares her passion for music with people and also take a few under ground artists to perform with her.

She has performed at more than ten stages across South Africa including the National Arts Festival with their Standard Bank Standing Innovation award winning play by Nelson Mokoena-1606. She also worked with Ntsiki Mazwai on her project The Masterpiece as a host from 2018 to 2019, She also

performed on Pdot_O album Launch, Under The Sun at The South African State Theatre in 2018. Her dream never stopped as she went solo in 2018 to pursue , the type of sound she does is called African Floetric. She also performs at Black Labone, Market@thesheds, Sawubona Music Jam and Home Lounge were she also does her tour at some of those venues. During the year 2022 Soulsista performed at event such as ChillnMingle music festival first annual, Sumthin Brown 10-hours show, FWI_Free.world Initiative and also Searchtalent agency at Sasani studios.

SoulSista style is an African Floetric sound, her music is a Six-Piece band that includes a Drummer,
Base Guitar, Piano(Keys), Two Vocalists , African Dancer and A Rainshaker with her Poetry. Soulsista storyteller through her Poetical music, speaks her mind.
