SA: Voting opens for Up We Go Mzansi creative competition
The public can now vote for their favourite artist for the Up We Go Mzansi competition.
The competition seeks to encourage South Africans to share their voice of expression and inform the country’s collective journey. It came into fruition following the launch of the Up We Go Mzansi campaign, which is led by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture’s Advocates for Social Cohesion Programme.
Last week, the top five finalists in each category were announced. The winner in each category will receive R25 000.
To vote, the public can go to the Up We Go Mzansi Instagram page or the Up We Go Mzansi Facebook page, like their favourite artist in each category, share the post on their Facebook page or Instagram stories, and tag Up We Go Mzansi using the hashtag #UpWeGoMzansi.
Each voter who likes and shares their favourite entries will stand a chance to win one of five Tempo Pulse Smart Watches, which will be launched in South Africa later this year.
The deadline for voting is 20 September and the winners will be announced on 24 September 2021.
Read the entry guidelines here. More information is available here.
