Bongi Mvuyana is a seasoned South African singer-songwriter and live performer delivering a sensational fusion of Soul, Jazz and House music through her album, collaborations and single releases, to her fast-growing global audience, across 164 countries. Having released her first single in 2009 through well-known Dance music label, King Street Sounds New York, she set her sights on the global market with a reflective yet versatile approach to music and songwriting. In 2014 she released her debut album which music critic, Therese Owen describes as “impressive, fresh, sophisticated, adventurous, intelligent, African soul and International”. Her sophomore album, POWER, release in Octover 2024 with GLAMOUR Magazine calling her music rich with storytelling and emotional depth. Her House music features have seen her collaborating with international greats such as Ralf GUM and Boddhi Sativa amongst others, with remixes by Atjazz, Opolopo and many more. Her live offering combines these vibrant sounds to deliver indelible music experiences to audiences she tailors every performance to. Over the years, her reach has grown exponentially with her listenership more than doubling between 2022 and 2023, and her sophomore album being met with much positivity from her audience.
