Call for applications: Customer support manager at Linkfire
Global music and entertainment marketing platform Linkfire is seeking a new customer support manager for its office in Ghana.
Linkfire is a leading marketing tool for the creative and entertainment space. The company works with big names in the music industry, and has operations in Lisbon, Copenhagen, New York, Los Angeles and Accra.
Aside from client communication, day-to-day management and support to Linkfire’s business clientele in mainly Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana, the role provides interested individuals with an opportunity to be part of a new team shaping the direction of Linkfire Africa. The candidate will work closely with Linkfire’s team in Copenhagen and New York as well as the company’s sales department in Accra, Ghana.
The successful applicant will also support in developing local strategies and identify opportunities by building up a pipeline of potential stakeholders.
The new customer support manager will become part of a team with a strong emphasis on building long-term client relationships and client portfolios within the music industry. In co-operation with the regional manager of Africa, the candidate will be responsible to take action on solving technical challenges for the company’s clients on the continent and being proactive in ideas on how to use the Linkfire tool.
Tasks
- Meet Linkfire’s current and potential clients (online and offline).
- Onboard new clients to the Linkfire tool.
- Support clients with any challenges they might encounter and provide proactive support.
- Support colleagues with research and finding solutions internally.
- Provide and create reports for current and potential clients
- Become an expert on all Linkfire products to clearly articulate and demonstrate the company’s value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects.
- Work closely with customer success and sales executive team.
The ideal candidate must:
- Possess an international profile and speak and write English fluently.
- Be a team player who values collaboration.
- Have more than two years of working experience.
- Posses great people skills combined with a mentality of putting the client at the centre.
- Be comfortable working remotely and individually from time to time.
- Be ambitious and a good communicator.
- Understand tech and are comfortable with tools such as Google slides, sheets and Gmail.
- Be interested and curious about the music industry.
- Have experience working with digital media and social media. Digital marketing ads is an advantage.
- Have a basic understanding of the music market in Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana or all and its complexity. Prior experience in the music and/or advertising industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
