Bio
Julian Oluoch (Julixn Drizzle), born on 02 September and raised in a Christian family, has come a long way before taking up music. He's fluent in both English and Swahili, which he uses all the time while composing and rapping. Since his music was featured on Wealthy Ears Radio, his last album, "The Worst", has received favorable airplay in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, he is working with a distribution partner from the United States, United Masters, to promote Kenyan music overseas.
Hailing from Kenya, Julian was among the winners of a song contest by Feelo Records in Germany.His first project, “The New Saint” was ranked number 168 on Audiomack album of the year for the year 2017 in the world. His single Kash has ranked on numerous charts both in Kenya and internationally. It was the #1 song on Homeboyz Jump Off Chart for 6 weeks in a row. Kash was equally selected for a Netflix shortfilm soundtrack.
Julixn Drizzle often switches between alter egos in his music. Saint is his somewhat softer side while Lone Wolf is his aggressive side.He heavily draws inspiration from Esir who represented South C before his untimely demise. Julixn grew up in South C, Nairobi.
Julixn has released three EPs so far in 2021. Feelings Mode has received favorable airplay while King In Nairobi was featured on Spotify's "New Music Friday". 4 The streets features a song called 4 For 4 which is a celebratory anthem for being on top of the charts for 4 weeks in a row. Sina Hio Time was equally featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and is currently receiving favourable airplay. Julixn’s new single Bomb ni Bomb has set new records for him as well. It was record of the week on Homeboyz Radio and has been featured on Apple Music Hip Hop playlist “The New Africa” and on Shazam’s playlist “East Africa’s Risers” It was equally 162 on The Top 200 Shazamed Kenyan songs in 2021.
He refers to himself as King Of The Misfits as a way of showing his fellow "misfits" that anything is possible if they put their minds to it.
Julixn has started his own record label, 12:01 Entertainment, with help from his fellow creatives and plans to start his own distribution company in the future.
