“For this Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame, we are looking for French horn and/or voice solos specifically written for Mary Beth Orr,” reads a statement. “Works may incorporate both French horn and voice. However, composers should be aware there is only a single performer. No works for duet will be considered.”
Mary Beth Orr is a unique performer who incorporates her French horn performances with her folk singing, storytelling and programmatic narratives. Folk and classical music are always inspired by four things: love, death, nature, and God/spirituality.
