Kofi Jamar and Khaligraph Jones team up on new single Dangerous
Ghanaian hip hop artist Kofi Jamar will release his new single featuring his Kenyan counterpart Khaligraph Jones on 29 June.
The song, titled ‘Dangerous’, will be made available on all major streaming platforms. It was produced by Ghanaian producer Trino and the video was directed by Kenya’s Ricky Becko.
Kofi Jamar, who is in Nairobi, Kenya, for an East African media tour, said says he is excited about the release of his first official song of the year.
In 2020, the artist teamed up with Khaligraph Jones and Nigeria’s Ice Prince on the the well-received ‘In the City’, and fans have already flooded social media to express their anticipation ahead of the new single’s release.
Kofi Jamar, born Derrick Osei Kuffour Prempeh in 1995 in the suburb of Bantama in Kumasi, is best known for his hit song ‘Ekorso’. He first stepped into the spotlight after winning a freestyle rap contest hosted by a radio station in Kumasi when he was barely 18.
In 2021, he received seven nominations at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
