Hosted by P&P Brands, a company owned by siblings Proud and Pride Masekesa, the awards seek to honour artists who are progressing in different art disciplines, including music, dance and media.
To be eligible, the entrant should be a Zimbabwean citizen from Masvingo Province.
Interested artists should submit their entries via email at pridemase@gmail.com or proudmase@gmail.com before 31 August. Entries can also be submitted physically at the P&P Global Brands HQ in Masvingo CBD, 524 Greenfield Street next to Bilcro Hardware.
“The Masvingo Music and Arts Awards are back after a two-year break due to COVID-19,” MMAA co-founder Pride Masekesa said. “This is the eighth year anniversary and will feature a red carpet event, full fleshed stage performances by various artists. We are still calling for more sponsorship and partnerships to make this year’s event even bigger and better.”
