Abaasa Rwemereza

Abaasa Rwemereza is an A&R and lecturer, and the founder of AUMEX in Uganda.

Following a passion for music, he pursued a career in live performance as a drummer. He then studied a diploma in audio engineering from SAE Institute Los Angeles, and completed his undergraduate studies in audio production from SAE Institute London. After a brief period living and working in Uganda as an audio production lecturer and music producer, he studied a Masters degree in Global Entertainment and Music Business from Berklee College of Music Valencia and went on to Head the Record label Division at Swangz Avenue. 

He currently works as a strategic consultant in addition to being a lecturer and program director for undergraduate students studying Creative Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Artfield Institute of Design.
