Backstreet Boys adds South Africa to DNA World Tour

As part of the band's DNA World Tour, the group will also perform in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland and China before touching down in South Africa. The tour is the 11th concert tour by the group in support of their ninth studio album DNA.

The tour began on 11 May 2019, but was cut short on 15 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The band initially rescheduled the remaining dates for 2021, but eventually had to postpone again to 2022 and 2023.

“South Africa, get ready, because we’re heading your way this May on the DNA World Tour,” the band wrote on social media.

Since it was founded in 1993, Backstreet Boys has been one of pop’s most influential groups. With countless chart-toppers, record-setting tours, numerous awards and worldwide sales in excess of 130 million, Backstreet Boys has been recognised as the best-selling boy band in history.

Presented by 947 and KFM, tickets to the show will be available here from 24 February, with a Discovery Bank pre-sale from 22 February.

The organisers are strongly advising fans against purchasing tickets from Viagogo as “these tickets are unlawfully resold by deceitful sellers for multiple times the face value and are not legitimate tickets.”
