THISTV

Founded in February 2015 by Lownan Nangombe, THISTV is a Namibian TV station with a 24-hour music channel. Lowman is a local Afrikaans musician and a television executive of the TV station. The station transmits on the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation’s new digital terrestrial television (DTT) platform on channel 107.
The broadcaster’s main emphasis is on urban music such as hip-hop, RnB, dancehall, reggae, kwaito and Afro-pop. The station features music from international and underground artists. Apart from music, THISTV transmits an assortment of content such as interviews with urban celebrities on music, fashion, dance, sport, lifestyle and film.
