Ghana’s Empire Entertainment partners with US-based Ubuntu Enterprises
Ghanaian music label and event company Empire Entertainment has announced a strategic alliance with US-based Ubuntu Enterprises LLC to empower artists and enhance fan experiences in the radio and music industry.
The partnership, made public this week, will unite both companies’ strengths, resources and expertise reflecting their shared vision to advance and innovate within the showbiz landscape.
Founded in 2007, Empire Entertainment is responsible for activating the careers of a number of notable Ghanaian popstars. The outfit is also behind popular events such as the Ghana Meets Nigeria concert that plays host to leading musicians from Ghana and Nigeria.
Through the collaboration, Empire and Ubuntu, which boasts similar interests within the entertainment industry, will jointly nurture production training camps for aspiring artists globally.
“This endeavour will combine the unique strengths of both organisations to provide unparalleled opportunities for artists to thrive and create remarkable experiences for fans,” Empire CEO Nat Kwabena Anokye-Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, said.
Bola Ray, the pioneering media mogul who also heads the EIB Networks media conglomerate, added that the partnership demonstrates a dedication that extends beyond music production to shaping the future of the music industry.
Ubuntu CEO Carl Shackleton, who heads music production outfit House of Hitz, is a veteran songwriter, executive producer and composer whose illustrious career spans over 25 years.
