Ghana: Strongman and Amerado drop Young And Strong EP
Ghanaian rappers Strongman and Amerado have announced their joint EP titled Young And Strong. The project is available for streaming and download across all major digital platforms.
The hip hop collection, comprising five songs, was heralded by the single ‘Rap is Still Alive’, and the rest of the EP is driven by impactful storytelling and wordplay, addressing a myriad of themes ranging from introspective narratives to social commentary.
"With the current hip hop landscape hungry for fresh and authentic content, this joint venture promises to be a breath of fresh air for music enthusiasts," a statement reads. "The EP showcases Amerado and Strongman's individual artistry while also exploring the chemistry that arises from their unique collaboration."
A key highlight of this project is the fusion of Amerado's dynamic flow and Strongman's compelling delivery. As the two artists complement each other's styles, Young And Strong listens as a harmonious blend of their distinct talents, setting the stage for an unforgettable musical journey.
A past winner of the local hip hop competition Next Big Thing in GH Rap, and formerly of Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music label, Strongman is behind several other solo collections namely the STN and Buokrom Boy EPs, as well as the 10 AM album.
On his part, Amerado, a Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Rapper of the Year winner who shot to nationwide notice with a prolific streak of weekly freestyles and the Black Sherif-assisted ‘Abotre’, is behind Rapmare EP and Patience EPs, as well as the 2022 full-length effort G.I.N.A.
