Tanzania: Jaivah drops Pita Kule single

On this catchy Swahili amapiano track, now available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms, Jaivah’s commanding vocals take centre stage as he addresses critics and naysayers, telling them to keep their distance.

“For me, music goes beyond crafting tunes and lyrics – it’s a profound way to connect with my audience,” Jaivah said. “I’m driven by the desire to witness fans singing along with me and enjoying every minute of my performances, which is what I hope to achieve with ‘Pita Kule’.”

This release marks the second collaborative effort between Jaivah and Marioo, building upon the success of their earlier hit ‘Soup’.

Hailing from Dar es Salaam, Jaivah is a versatile artist with eight years of experience in the Tanzanian music scene working as a singer, songwriter, rapper and producer. His debut track ‘Jaiva’ garnered significant acclaim, earning him airplay and appearances on mainstream media

In 2021, Jaivah unveiled his seven-track debut EP Jaivah Vibes. Throughout his career, Jaivah has worked and forged collaborations with leading artists like Joh Makini, Izzo Bizness, Darassa, Gigy Money, Country Wizzy, Adam Mchomvu, Marioo and Abbah Process, among others, cementing his presence within the bongo flava community. In 2022, he inked a deal with Tanzanian record label Bxra Records.
