Open call: ACCES 2023 media accreditation
The Music In Africa Foundation is inviting media practitioners to apply for accreditation ahead of the ACCES 2023 music conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on 9, 10, 11 November.
ACCES 2023 offers an opportunity for radio, TV, print and online journalists and outlets to cover one of the most important events on the African music industry calendar.
ACCES will host 14 music acts from across the continent and more than 50 speakers representing the African and global music industries. The music trade show will include awards, exhibitions, workshops, masterclasses, keynotes, panel discussions, showcases and outings to key music industry locations in Dar es Salaam.
This year’s programme will feature musicians like Marioo (Tanzania), Sho Madjozi (South Africa) and Siti Muharam and The Unguja All Stars (Tanzania) as well as music professionals such as SymphonyOS founder Chuka Chase (US), gamma president of Africa and the Middle East Sipho Dlamini, EMPIRE vice-president of strategy and market development for Africa and the diaspora Ezegozie Eze Jr (Nigeria), Ditto Music regional manager for Africa Wendy Verwey Bekker, Sony Music Publishing South Africa managing director Rowlin Naicker (South Africa) and The Orchard director of distribution Mpumi Phillips (South Africa).
ACCES 2023’s conference sessions will take place at Mlimani City Conference Centre while the showcase programme will be held at the popular Warehouse venue in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.
