YPa

YPa (born Elvis Osei Owusu) is a rapper, producer and singer from Accra, Ghana. His family is originally from Obo, a town on the Kwahu mountain. Born in 1995, Elvis grew up in Darkuman, Accra. He attended Romma Basic school from pre-school to middle school. He went on to read General Science at Accra Academy for his High School education. He started writing his own songs at age 15, on orientation day at Accra Academy. Elvis currently studies Public Relations at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).
YPa's style was mainly Conscious Hiphop when he started out but lately, he has shown a lot of interest in Afro-RnB. He has a playful, nasal voice when he sings and a rapid-but-not-choppy style of rap, although he has been noted to have a wide vocal range, switching from a breaking bass to a tiny squeaky falsetto at will.

He is often seen in a checkered shirt with his buttons undone.
