Open call: MTN Bushfire Arts Round Table in eSwatini
MTN Bushfire and Africa Rising Music Conference (ARMC) are inviting creatives from eSwatini to submit applications for the Arts Round Table (ART) discussion at House on Fire in eSwatini on 31 May.
The discussion lays the foundation for an annual opportunity for musicians and music industry professionals to meet, engage, showcase and activate on a dynamic range of topics and outputs, building bridges between the African and European music markets.
It is an annual industry workshop aiming to increase knowledge, best practices and market links for artists and other industry stakeholders in the southern African region, with a major focus on eSwatini. Every year, ART hosts experienced speakers from the region and around the world.
Applications are open to performing artists and arts industry creatives in eSwatini, including music artists, artist managers, music publishers, record label executives, poets, comedians and PR professionals. This year’s ART topics are Elevating Underrepresented Voices, Forging Connections, Youth Empowerment & Education and Fostering Self-Reliance.

- Applicants agree to attend ART on 31 May from 9am to 3.30pm.
- Accreditation will commence at 8.30am on 31 May.
- No entries will be allowed into the venue after 9.30am.
The MTN Bushfire-ARMC partnership is based on reciprocation and exchange in order to showcase emerging talent in eSwatini while providing a platform for local stakeholders from different arts disciplines to interact with top industry professionals.
