Call for applications: SXSW 2019
South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival is calling on artists to submit their applications to perform at the annual music festival in Austin, Texas, from 11 to 17 March next year.
Applications SXSW 2019 open on 25 June and can be submitted via the SXSW website. The deadline is 13 September.
Successful applicants will gain publicity by performing in front of industry professionals, international media and new fans.
Music Showcase applications are open to:
- All genres.
- Solo acts and/or full bands.
- Artists from any part of the world.
Invited artists are guaranteed at least one showcase slot:
- Showcase slots run an average of 40 minutes.
- Slots will be scheduled for March 12 to18, generally between 7pm and 2am (exceptions do apply).
- Venue, time and date assignment will vary.
- SXSW does not provide artist backline nor cover travel and accommodation expenses.
