Nigeria: Flavour strikes deal with Warner Music Africa and Africori
According to a statement, the deal will allow Flavour to leverage Warner Music’s global network and utilise its best-in-class A&R and marketing teams, “offering new opportunities for growth and collaboration.”.
An artist trading in a fusion of African rhythm, highlife and contemporary jazz, Flavour has amassed more than 1 billion views on YouTube and sold over five million albums

The development follows the launch of Warner Music Africa Francophone as part of an existing joint venture with Africori focusing on the expansion of operations in French-speaking Africa.
Born Chinedu Okoli in Enugu State, southeastern region of Nigeria, on 23 November 1983, Flavour N'abania, or simply Flavour, began his musical career as a drummer for a local church at the age of 13.
Dubbed Africa’s Highlife King, he has seamlessly blended Afrobeat, highlife, and contemporary sounds, earning a global fan base. His debut album N’abania (2008) sold over 10 million copies, and his 2010 follow-up, Uplifted, catapulted him to international fame with hits like ‘Nwa Baby’ and ‘Adanma’. His 2012 album Blessed solidified his global appeal.
Over the years, Flavour has collaborated with global stars like Akon, Ciara, Lauryn Hill, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg, gracing major stages and media platforms. With numerous accolades, including MTV Africa Music Awards and Channel O Music Video Awards, Flavour’s contributions to African music are unparalleled. He has also made history with performances on Coke Studio Africa and continues to sell out venues across the globe.
