Open call: Incredible Music Festival in Nigeria

Traditionally hosted in Jos, northern Nigeria, the festival, the brainchild of rap vet MI Abaga, aims to showcase exceptional talent and foster meaningful conversations on critical industry topics.

It brings together musicians, industry professionals, and enthusiasts across the region. 

Competition winners will have the opportunity to perform a 10-minute live set on the festival’s main stage, with prizes including ₦1 000 000 for the winner and ₦500 000 each for the first and second runners-up.

How to Apply:

• Applicants must post a one-minute video of themselves performing live with an instrument.
• They should follow and tag @smedangov, @thisistasck, and @incrediblemusicng on all social media platforms.
• Applicants are encouraged to involve their fans by asking them to follow, like, comment, and engage with their posts.
• They must use the hashtag #JosBecause to stand out.

Additionally, applicants must register with SMEDAN using this link, and send a screenshot of their registration certificate to hitusup@thetasck.com.

The application deadline is 20 December.

This year’s festival is scheduled to take place from 26 to 27 December.
