Revelator extends partnership with Highvibes Digital
Digital IP infrastructure provider Revelator has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with music aggregator Highvibes Digital Limited, as part of efforts to “redefine music distribution for African talent and beyond.”
According to a statement, the ongoing collaboration continues to equip independent artists with tools, visibility, and transparent royalty systems.
Founded in 2019 and based in Ghana, Highvibes claims to have grown to become Africa’s most dynamic music distribution platform, now representing a catalogue of over 50 000 tracks and more than 20 000 artists.
The partnership introduces a range of advancements expected to revolutionise the experience for independent artists, including access to professional-grade distribution, analytics, and promotional tools, comparable to those available to major labels.
Highvibes founder and CEO Ogunade Gbolahan said the partnership has been instrumental in transforming music distribution on the continent. “Together, we’ve empowered thousands of independent artists with the tools and opportunities they need to share their creativity with the world. As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded of the possibilities this partnership continues to unlock for African music on a global stage.”
Revelator CEO Bruno Guez added: “Our partnership with Highvibes represents a shared commitment to empowering independent artists and transforming music distribution across Africa. By combining Highvibes’ regional expertise with Revelator’s best-in-class technology, we are not only simplifying operations but also creating new opportunities for creators to thrive globally. Together, we’re unlocking the potential of African music on the world stage while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and scalability for rights holders and distributors alike.”
Earlier this year, Revelator partnered with New York-based direct-to-consumer music platform EVEN to enable artists and labels to connect more deeply with fans and monetise their music. Revelator also boasts a recent arrangement with business growth accelerator and consultancy Triple G Ventures.
