Stolen Moments (Namibian Music History Untold)

Based in Windhoek, Namibia, Stolen Moments (Namibian Music History Untold) is a collective search of Namibian Music Culture. In order to prevent the rich culture from dying out, a recollection of artefacts and music memory from 1950s to the late 1980s has been gathered. This includes sound recording, print articles, film, photography and oral history.

All oral history, recordings and research data remain property of the originators. Contributions made are copied and deposited at the National Archives of Namibia. This will open up the area for future investigation and form the basis for a Namibian popular music archive, as intended by the National Archives of Namibia.
