Call for applications: 2019 Shoko Festival in Zimbabwe

Shoko Festival is calling on artists to apply to perform at its event in Harare, Zimbabwe, from 27 to 30 September. The event will run under the theme Good Vibes Only.

Zimbabwean hip hop artist Asaph and South Africa's Moonchild Sanelly performed at the 2018 edition of Shoko Festival in Harare.

The call is intended for musicians, poets, comedians, dancers, emcees, DJs and fashion designers. Interested individuals should apply here. Physical applications such as CDs can be delivered at Moto Republik at Number 3 Allan Wilson Avenue, Belgravia (off Mazowe Street and opposite Parirenyatwa Hospital).

The submission deadline is 5 July.

Call for designers

Designers are encouraged to pitch their concepts. The winning design will be awarded $200 and will be chosen as the official look of the 2019 edition of the Shoko Festival. Applications should be sent via email at: magamba@magambanetwork.com.
