Top 10 Liberian songs of 2019

Some of the country's popstars, including CIC, Kobazzie and Bucky Raw, are represented, as are foreign acts taking up guest spots, Davido, Kuami Eugene and Ice Prince among them. 

'Morning' - CIC
Sounds Of Greatness (S.O.G - Records) front-liner CIC and his team dropped one of the year’s anthems titled 'Morning'. A  romantic song released in January, the song still enjoys massive airplay in the country. It was produced by Duke Blac.

'Bounce Rmx' - Kobazzie x Davido
This is the first international collaborative effort from Kobazzie. Between the featured act Davido and Kobazzie himself, it is difficult to say who stole this song but Liberian clubs have given the song a lot of spins since its release.

'Thank You' - Bucky Raw x Stunna x Ice Prince

Bucky Raw is the real deal. Popularly referred to as King Of Liberia trap music, he surprised his fans early this year with a superb collaboration featuring Stunna and  Nigeria's Ice Prince. 'Thank You' was one of the biggest collaborations of 2018.

'Your Waist' - JaRedo x Kuami Eugene

S.O.G Records and their artist Jaredo have not slept off since the release of his debut single 'Wait for You' ft PCK. The Afropop hit 'Your Waist' has solid lyrical content and the blend of Jaredo's vocals with Ghanaian act Kuami Eugene's vibe has made it a hit.

Consistency is surely the key when it comes to CIC's success in Liberia's music industry. From the beginning of this year, the Liberian kolo-pop star has delivered. On this song, CIC tells his girl to dance for him, while he spends his money on her.

'Love O' - Mr. Parbai

The song has become one of the biggest songs of the year. For this song, FlexzzBeatz gained serious recognition across the 15 political subdivisions of Liberia. 

'Love For Life' - Stunna

The catchy and romantic lyrics of this song have caught the attention of music lovers in Liberia. 'Love For Life' was released alongside a very intriguing video. It was produced by Dr LuBeatz. 

'Raising Sun' - C-Jay x J Slught

Bilikon Entertainment hit maker C-Jay strikes again and this time he is well assisted by the sensation J Slught to deliver this simple, amorous and romantic record 'Raising Sun'.

Bluetooth - JSB x D. Pretty

'Bluetooth' is one of the songs that can awaken a dead party. This song brought JSB to the spotlight, with contributions from D. Pretty. The song's audio leaked and went viral before the video dropped.

Award-winning Afropop artist EricGeso He has proven over and over that he will remain relevant as long he has a song out. Just within a month of dropping song dropped, it became a hit.
