3rd Venty International Arts, Culture Festival & Conference

The 3rd Venty International Arts, Culture Festival & Conference which is an annual event in the calendar of the Mphatlalatsane Creative Arts Lekgotla NPC (MCAL) in North West Province is scheduled for the 31 October – 02 November 2019.

MCAL initiated the Bokone Bophirima Creative Arts Conference & Exhibition in September 2017 now renamed Venty International Arts, Culture Festival & Conference. Our research that followed the 2017 event necessitated that offerings we have should aim in putting Ventersdorp and North West on an international map and we need to contribute in profiling the JB Marks brand globally.

As the result of this feedback, MCAL decided to have a 3-day programme that will be both developmental and commercial, with the focus being in developing artists from all works of life through Development Workshops, Short Films show, Arts &Craft Exhibitions, Showcasing, etc. We further decided to focus on drawing people and groups from other countries to come and complement our local, district and provincial artists and creatives.Craft Exhibitions, Showcasing, etc. We further decided to focus on drawing people and groups from other countries to come and complement our local, district and provincial artists and creatives.Craft Exhibitions, Showcasing, etc.
