Call for applications: British Council consultancy grant in Tunisia
The British Council is inviting media organisations to apply for a grant to establish an online broadcasting platforming for the youth in Tunis, Tunisia.
The ideal applicant will work in partnership with the British Council to create art and media projects to empower marginalised young people by responding to their needs, interests, and priorities.
Through the projects, the youth will be expected to produce and disseminate their narratives and media products under a youth-led brand.
The British Council is committed to international development and the empowerment of individuals and communities through the arts by supporting young Tunisians pave a career in the arts.
The support is based on:

- Opportunities to showcase work
- Networking
The application deadline is 26 September 2019.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, coach and provide technical support to produce their content and broadcast it via the platform
- Create and manage a co-working space fitted with studios, and adequate equipment to host the young participants
- Work closely with project partners and the project team and ensure that tasks and reporting documents are shared and updated regularly
- Comply with the British Council’s policies
