Christopher Muneza
Bio
Christopher Muneza (born 30 January 1994), famously known by his stage name Christopher is an RnB musician from Rwanda. He was born to Butera Juvenal and Gahongayire Marie Mativitas. He is the third born in a family of six children. He began his music career while in primary where he was part of a school choir.
In 2009, he began composing his unreleased song called ‘Bye Bye’. He joined the music industry prior to winning a competition organized by producer Clement. He shot to fame after the release of his debut album ‘Habona’. This was followed by joint music projects with some of the famous musicians in the country such as Tom Close, Dream Boys and Knowless, among others. He was also the youngest contestant in the third season of Primus Guma Guma Superstar, an annual Rwanda reality singing competition show sponsored by Bralirwa’s Primus lager. Since then, he started releasing songs like ‘Ishema’, ‘Sigaho’, ‘Amaitamo’, ‘Iri Joro’, ‘Habona’, ‘Babyumva’ and many others. ‘Iri Joro’ is a duet that he did with rapper Danny.
