SA DJ opens 3 000 capacity venue in Pretoria
South Africa's DJ Hu Nose this month opened a 3 000-capacity music venue in the Pretoria CBD.
The venue, called Propaganda, is reportedly the biggest entertainment destination in the South African capital and boasts an elevated DJ Box, live stage, a fully stocked butchery and a carwash. The three-storey club also offers tailormade options for lavish private and corporate events alike.
“With the ever-changing face of South African entertainment, it was finally time to execute this phase of the business,” DJ Hu Nose said.
“Having been in the game this long with running several other success entertainment properties, our research forecast that this is what people want: one destination offering a full lifestyle experience.
“At Propaganda, we offer the triple crown of service where you get your car washed, eat some of the best South African culinary treats, drink from a long selection of drinks while listening to the best South African music bliss. What more do you need?”
The venue has already hosted such artists as Cassper Nyovest, Vusi Nova, DJ Vicmo & Comfort, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.
“The venue features old school hits and currently trending music playing across two different dance floors,” the Propaganda management team said.
“The live outdoor set-up includes a massive LED wall and boasts some of SA’s finest DJs and artists on specific party nights with music during the day. Music genres played include Afro-house, local house, hip hop and R&B.
“With the current global shift to more daytime lifestyle meets entertainment experiences, Propaganda is set to change the face of entertainment in Tshwane.
"The venue offers a secure dedicated parking bay with trained professional security guards to ensure the safety of the patron from parking lot to the venue. There is also a clearly demarcated drop-off zone for Uber and taxis for those not opting to drive. This area offers easy access into the venue.”
Propaganda has a strict no under 23 age policy.
