ADE is an Award Winning Author & Poet, Spoken Word Phenomena, Lyricist and a truth seeker; whom also specialises in mental healthcare.
Now, going back to his humble beginnings, on August 19th in the early 90's was born, an abnormal life force.
Some called him an "Indigo Warrior" & others, a "beast of bliss". Yet to most, merely a child named Mandela Matur.
Raised in different cities that were his influences, this being of creation became instinctively infatuated with vibrations, sound, poetry/words and the feelings that they caused.
Music took over his mind, with hip-hop being the main genre that struck chords in him. But other major influences were the late 70's 80's and 90's music eras & legends.
Early interests & stand outs ranged from the voice of Elvis Presley, the words of John Lennon, the energy, rhythm and emotional stances of Tupac.
As the millennium rolled in, music took yet another evolution as the 2000's claimed their place in history. A time in which all music, sounds and frequencies made lasting impression for this young man, as it encompassed him.
As a matter of fact, music become the sole escape from authority, religion and rules!
Listening to a myriad of bands and artists with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Quiet Riot, Kiss, Tom Petty, The Bengals, Krs-one, Run DMC, the Beastie Boys, Kool Moe D, LL, Slick Rick, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Madonna, EPMD, Eric B & Rakim, Bon Jovi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 2pac, Notorious BIG, NWA and even Scratch Attack.
His childhood best friend purchased an organ, of which had a built in four track midi sequencer & taught him to play Amazing Grace. Thus, began his ascend into artistry.
Just over a decade later in 2012, ADE would find himself recording his first track… and never looked back. This is when he released his first mixtape - The Revolution.
As his penmanship grew & improved, ADE began writing some beautiful poetry.
In 2014 he released his debut album Deep Elevation, subsequently followed by State of the Nation EP.
In 2018 he published his first collection of poetry, a book titled Lemonade Love, which gained him some relative commercial success.
His next release was collaborative book- Passionate Elixir.
In late 2019 he released his best selling book- Stranded Lullabies, which not only got him awarded a Best Literary Award in South Africa, but also exposed his talents as one of the most notable & influential young writers in his young country of South Sudan.
His latest release, in early 2021 under Innocent Kriminals is an EP - The Tales of the Traveling Poet, written on his adventures deep into the Eastern Equatorial State in South Sudan.
