Idelsa

Idelsa (born Idelsa de Carmen Herculano Comé) is a singer from Mozambique.

She released her first song when she was 19, the song entitled “Esta dor”, which was chosen as the soundtrack for the Mozambican telenovela “Nineteens” the following years she release more 2 songs. In 2018 she started the conception and production of her first EP Girassol. It was produced and recorded between Maputo and Lisbon at Sameblood and BigBit studios and released on March 27, 2020.

This EP reflects all of Idelsa’s influence in the Music Industry, with good vibe themes, reminiscent of a mixture of Marrabenta (traditional style of Mozambique), with Jazz / Pop, in a fusion where World Music comes out highly valued.

Girassol just like the plant (Sunflower), always follows the sun and light, reflects a feeling of hope and goodness after the storm and that is the main message in the songs.
