Shalom

Kagiso Kekana, also known as Shalom, is a multifaceted South African artist. Born in Soweto and raised in the East Rand, Kagiso is a passionate advocate for the arts, with a focus on performance art.

As a singer, songwriter, and performer, Kagiso has graced various stages with her velvety voice and musical talent. Her 15-year musical journey began in high school as a soprano choralist and continued in community theatre, art spaces, and live events, with a focus on Afro Soul, Jazz, and Gospel genres.

Kagiso's latest project, "Emissions of Healing," is an experimental musical.
