Call for applications: Electronic music workshop in Kenya
Santuri East Africa in partnership with Midi Minds and ADA Creatives is inviting up-and-coming music producers and DJs interested in electronic music to apply for a three-day workshop in Nairobi, Kenya.
The workshop, which is a part of the Femme Electronic project and supported by Goethe-Institut Nairobi, will run from 25 to 27 September at ADA Creative Studios.
Slots are available for only 20 participants – 15 ladies and five gentlemen – and applicants have until Friday 15 September to apply. Successful applicants will be notified by 20 September.

The Femme Electronic project was initiated by Ugandan DJ Rachael. Participants are normally taken through trainings, workshops, mentorships, showcases, residencies and events aimed at addressing the severe gender imbalance in the East African music industry and the electronic music scene in particular.
