Call for entries: Petrichor International Music Competition
Established or emerging artists can now submit performance videos or compositions for the inaugural Petrichor International Music Competition in the US.
This competition is organised by Petrichor Records and is open to instrumentalists, singers, ensembles and composers of all ages and nationalities.
The instruments could include:
- Western classical instruments or traditional instruments.
- Non-orchestral instruments, such as guitar or piano.
- Any instruments associated with folk or non-western music.
Note: Self-built instruments are not accepted.
The entries could be drawn from a standard repertoire composed by a living composer or original work by the performer. Participants stand a chance of winning more than $5 000 in cash and $5 000 in non-cash prizes.
An artistic panel and the jurors will carefully review submissions individually and without regard for age, nationality, gender or musical style.
