Call for nominations: 2023 Forty Under 40 Awards in Ghana

The event, put together by Xodus Communications, aims to honour young achievers across music and arts, banking and finance, technology and innovation, journalism, agriculture, fashion, health and wellness, and more.

Interested individuals can submit their nominations here before 8 July.

The nominees list will be published on 17 July, with voting happening from 17 July to 18 August.

At last year’s edition, producer and audio engineer Benjamin Garzy Mensah, known in showbiz circles as Mix Master Garzy, popular for his works with the likes of Stonebwoy and Patoranking, took home the award for the music and entertainment category. The year before, singer Becca took home that award. 

Eligibility

• To be eligible, candidates must be Ghanaian living and doing business in Ghana.
• Nominees with repeat submissions will gain no advantage over those with one nomination. The selection process is not swayed by the number of nominations an individual receives.
• Nominations can be anonymous and letters of recommendation are not required.
• Nominees must still be under the age of 40 or 40 in the year of the event.
• Nominees must be an entrepreneur, CEO or co-founders of a company.

“We believe that by shining a spotlight on these young achievers, the awards will not only celebrate them but also build a strong platform for them by giving a voice and opportunities to the next generation of industry pacesetters while building a positive attitude in our youth to strive for excellence,” the organisers said.
