Call for nominations: Ghana Entertainment Awards USA 2023

Now in its fifth year, the event celebrates outstanding achievements among Ghanaian creatives in Ghana, the US and Canada.

Ghana Entertainment Awards (GEA) was established to showcase the achievements of Ghanaian musicians and performing artists. The 2023 edition will reward artistic feats over the past year in different categories including music, dance, and visual art, among others. 

“The Ghana Entertainment Awards endeavours to exhibit the rich arts culture of Ghana,” organisers said, adding that the scheme “serves to further internationalise the diversity of talents of Ghanaians.”

At last year’s awards, rapper Jay Hover won the coveted Entertainer of the Year GH/USA prize.
