Justin Bieber is coming to South Africa in 2022

The two gigs will form part of Bieber’s much-anticipated Justice World Tour, which will take place from May 2022 through to March 2023. The ‘Peaches’ singer will deliver more than 90 performances in over 20 countires across five continents, with more shows to be announced in Asia and the Middle East soon.

Bieber will be performing for the third time in South Africa. The singer made his debut in the country in May 2013. His second appearance was for his Purpose World Tour in 2016.

“We’ve been working hard to create the best show we’ve ever done and we can’t wait to share it with fans around the world. I’ll see you soon,” Bieber said.

The announcement of the tour comes after Bieber’s successful remix of Wizkid’s song ‘Essence’ featuring fellow Nigerian singer Tems. Bieber’s tour will begin in Mexico, followed by Scandinavia, South America, South Africa and the Middle East in September and October. He will then go to Australia and New Zealand in November and December before staging shows in the UK and Europe in early 2023.

The Justice World Tour is named after Bieber’s 2021 album, which debuted as the most-streamed album in 117 countries. Justice has amassed nearly nine billion streams worldwide and dropped on the back of huge international hits ‘Anyone’, ‘Lonely’ and ‘Holy’, which had already gathered two billion streams prior to the album’s release. 

Tickets to the South African concerts will be available for sale via Ticketmaster from 1 December.
