Kwacha Music Awards Zambia: All the nominees

The inaugural KMAs took place in 2017 and are organised by Sun FM. According to the KMAs, the awards were established to “create and foster a healthy environment for competition by providing a platform for showcasing excellence and performance opportunities for the growth and development of the music industry throughout the country.”

The nominees were selected by a special jury of representatives from the National Arts Council (NAC), the Zambia Arts Adjudicators Panel (ZAAP), the National Association of Media Arts (NAMA), the Zambia Music Copyright Protection Society (ZAMCOPS), the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) and the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA).

The public can vote for their favourite acts via the Kwacha Music Awards official website.
