Open call: Zimbabwe Musicians Union workshop
The Zimbabwe Musicians Union (ZIMU) is inviting musicians based in Chitungwiza to register for a workshop that will be held at Chitungwiza Arts Centre on 11 October.
The training session is part of the union’s workshop series that were conducted in the country in Bulawayo, Gweru, Mutare, Masvingo, Mashonaland Central and Matabeleland South.
The workshop will be conducted under the theme Musician as a Worker with the aim of determining whether musicians view themselves as workers.

The deadline for registrations is 9 October at 4.30pm.
Requirements:
- You must be a singer, producer, instrumentalist, producer etc.
- Must be a Zimbabwean.
- Participants must be willing to take part in the workshop in its entirety.
- Registrations are only open to serious and dedicated artists.
Besides the workshop, participants will elect committee members with assistance from ZIMU management, which will conduct the voting process.
