SA's GoodLuck joins John Legend, Chris Martin for COVID-19 virtual concert series
South African electronic band GoodLuck will join Chris Martin (UK), John Legend (US), Hozier (Ireland), and Shawn Mendes (Canada) for the Global Citizen and World Health Organisation's (WHO's) Together at Home virtual concert series at 8pm on 27 March.
Hozier, Chris Martin, Shawn Mendes and John Legend have already done their part and fans are encouraged to watch GoodLuck’s live performance on the band’s Instagram profile.
Together at Home is a home experience event that was launched this week by Global Citizen, WHO and a group of artists to use music as means to unify people around the world amid the COVID-19 crisis.
“It's such a privilege to be a voice of hope in these difficult times,” GoodLuck's Juliet Harding said. “I hope our fans around the world are safe and their families are healthy. I can't wait to share the joy of music with all of you.”
Global Citizen launched Together at Home to support WHO’s efforts and to "bring us all together to feel less lonely in light of the COVID-19 pandemic."
