Watch Simi sing Ayo

The video shows several persons, including the artist herself, dance and sing words to the new song.

‘Ayo’, a word that translates to “joy”, is expected to be part of Simi’s third solo album, which the artist says is near completion. A song in the juju tradition, it appears to be inspired by the music of Ebenezer Obey, whose song ‘Aimasiko’ was covered by the younger artist on her award-winning sophomore album Simisola.
