Win tickets to Lake of Stars Fest in Malawi!
Music In Africa is giving away two (2) weekend passes with camping to the 15th edition of Lake of Stars Festival on the shores of Lake Malawi from 28 to 30 September.
The festival recently announced US electro trio Major Lazer and popular Kenyan band Sauti Sol as the headliners, in what promises to be one of the most anticipated editions of Lake of Stars to date.
Other artists confirmed on the line-up include Fredokiss, Kobi Onyame, Love SSega and many others.
How to enter
To be in with a chance of winning a ticket for you and a friend, all you have to do is answer the following questions:
- Name two artists who will be performing at the event?
- When and where is Lake of Stars Festival happening?
Submit your answers with the following personal details:
- First name
- Last Name
- Phone number
- Country of residence
- ID/passport number
All entries should be sent to competitions@musicinafrica.net
The competition runs from 5 September 2018 to 12 September 2018 (12pm GMT). The winners will be announced on Thursday 13 September 2018.

Competition rules
- The competition runs from 4 September 2018 to 12 September 2018 at 12pm GMT.
- Competition entrants must be over 18 years to enter.
- You can only enter the competition once, multiple entries will be disqualified.
- To be eligible you have to complete all fields required. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
- A winner will receive no more than two (2) General Admission and Camping tickets.
- Festival tickets includes access to the festival only. Winners must make their way to and from the festival site. Winners will have to arrange for their own accommodation and foot any other relevant expenses, for example border fees.
- Camping pass just gives you access to the camping area and you must provide your own camping equipment.
- For entrants outside of Malawi, this competition is only open to holders of a valid passport.
- Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable
- No prize shall be exchangeable for money.
- No employee or board member of the Music In Africa Foundation, members of their immediate family or employees of partner organisations may enter.
- If a winner is unable to take up a prize for any reason, or if the Music In Africa Foundation has not been able, after making reasonable efforts, to make contact with the winner, the Music In Africa Foundation reserves the right to award that prize (without notice to the first winner chosen) to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen shall not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever. The Music In Africa Foundation shall not have any liability in such eventuality.
- Automated entries, bulk entries or third-party entries will be disqualified.
- Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in immediate disqualification from the competition.
